Policies
Our terms are NET 30 from the date the orthotics ship. Statements are mailed out on the 1st of each month. For your convenience we accept Visa®, MasterCard®, Discover®, and American Express®.
Invoices 45 days past the NET 30 days will be put on credit hold unless a payment plan has been arranged with the Marathon Orthotics, Inc. office.
Shell Guarantee
Our plastic shells are guaranteed not to break. Unless there is evidence of abuse or misuse, we will replace any cracked or broken plastic shell at no charge to you.
6 Month Guarantee
Within 6 months of making the original orthotics, we will recover or change top cover, add or remove met pads, etc. to make the orthotics right for your patient’s needs at no charge to you. If the patient cannot tolerate the orthotics’ original shell material within 6 months of production, we will remake them with a different shell material.
Free Add-Ons
Unlike most labs, we do not charge for most of our add-ons, including Met Pads, Cushioning, Extensions, Posting, Cut-Outs, etc. all come free of charge to you on our standard functional or accommodative orthotics. We also do not charge a fee for RUSH orders or for shipping.
Free Shipping/Delivery
We offer free Metro-Minneapolis/St. Paul delivery and pick-up service. For our out-of-Metro area clinics, or our out-of-state clinics, we offer free ground shipping to and from our lab, as well as free order tracking via UPS® or the USPS®. Note: Order tracking is only available with UPS®.
Medicare Compliant 3-Pair Program
If size ordered is initially incorrect, we will remake one set of 3-Pair orthotics at no charge to you within the first 6 months. If a second set remake is required, we will charge ½ price. Any additional remakes will be charged at full price. If there is any defect of workmanship or materials – we will replace, adjust, or accept a return at no charge. We also offer a Guarantee of Durability: Our 3-Pair are guaranteed to last at least one year, unless there is evidence of misuse.
Ped Pillows™
No Risk Guarantee! Any Ped Pillows™ returned to you within 30 days of patient’s purchase may be returned to Marathon Orthotics, Inc. for credit. If sales do not meet your expectations, unsold stock may be returned to us for credit. Actual shipping charges will apply.
Professional Courtesy
We are happy to offer all of our medical practitioners 1 free pair of orthotics annually. For the practitioner’s family and immediate office staff, we offer 1 pair at ½ price annually. Please indicate that the order is for the practitioner or staff on the prescription order form.

Invoicing Procedures
An invoice will be included with shipment/delivery of your finished product (this can be mailed or emailed separately at your request).
Statements will be mailed on the first of each month listing all open invoices with aging.
Terms are Net 30 days from the invoice date.
Invoices past due more than 45 days are subject to a finance charge.
Accounts with past due amounts more than 60 days old will be put on Credit Hold.
Invoices can be emailed automatically or by request.
