CAST STORAGE Cast Storage ·At Marathon Orthotics we do not rely on computers to make and modify a model of your patients feet. We pour and modify plaster casts the old fashioned way. ·The plaster casts that we create are labeled, dated, and filed away in our cast storage warehouse so that we can quickly retrieve them for patients seeking a second pair. ·We retain casts for 6 months from the date the finished orthotics are sent to the clinic. This gives the patient a significant amount of time to test out their new pair of orthotics and decide if they want more pairs for other varieties of shoes. Note ·We are able to produce an exact replica of an existing pair of orthotics if a patient wishes to have another pair made after the six month holding period. ·We are also able to duplicate an old orthotic made by another lab. Simply send in the orthotics to be duplicated, and we will take care of the rest. |
