PLANTAR FASCIITIS Plantar Fasciitis ·Accommodative Orthotics can be used to eliminate the symptoms of Plantar Fasciitis. This orthotic is not as ''controlling'' as a functional device but does offer excellent plantar surface support. ·We have successfully treated Plantar Fasciitis with these orthotics for hundreds of patients. Because they are made of softer materials than a ''hard plastic'' patient compliance is better. ·We do not suggest that all of your patients with Heel Pain should be prescribed accommodative orthotics, but we do know they are highly effective. It gives you, the practitioner, another tool. ·We have a number of shell materials to choose from, all of which are different densities. They range from very soft to quite firm. We can assist you in picking the appropriate shell material for the patients corresponding with weight, age, and activity level. ·Typically, a very soft shock absorbing mid layer is teamed up with a more durable (but still cushioned) layer for the top cover. |
