RICHIE BRACE® POLICIES Order Standards Marathon Orthotics will inspect and evaluate orders to assure cast quality, proper marking and completion of all data entries on the order form prior to processing. Should an order not meet standards, the submitter will be contacted for required corrections prior to start of work. Brace turnaround time is approximately 3 weeks, door to door & terms are net 30 days. Accounts that are 60 days or more past due will be put on a credit hold unless a payment plan has been arranged with Marathon Orthotics office. Remakes MARATHON ORTHOTICS will replace at no charge, braces where a lab error or marginal workmanship has occurred if returned within 90 days. Any design and additions beyond initial requirements submitted in the original order must be processed and billed as a new submittal. Material Failure Warranty Coverage (normal usage conditions) There is no charge for the replacement of hardware, plastic and metal components if under 6 months. All soft materials: crepe, top-covers, Velcro, and limb support pads, are covered at no-charge up to 90 days. Return for Adjustments Customers wishing to return braces for adjustments should include detailed information describing the patient’s problem and specific directions for the adjustment. Markings on the brace to illustrate changes are welcome. Charges may apply for adjustments. Please refer to Repair & Adjustments Charges below, or contact MARATHON ORTHOTICS Client Services for clarifications. MARATHON ORTHOTICS representatives can assist you by recommending adjustments that have been found effective in addressing certain brace compliance problems. MARATHON ORTHOTICS does not warrantee adjustments made contrary to our experience or recommendations. Return Credit MARATHON ORTHOTICS cannot issue credit due to patient non-compliance, non acceptance, or reimbursement failures. Lab error or workmanship claims will be honored at full credit if declared within 90 days.
